Most patients arrive at a clinic with a concern, not a treatment name. This page is organised around what you notice — a spot, a scar, thinning hair, signs of ageing — rather than the technology used to address it.

Each concern links to a dedicated page where you will find: the most commonly used treatment routes, what a realistic outcome looks like, contraindications and a way to book a consultation.

Face and skin concerns

The following concerns are addressed through a combination of in-clinic treatments, physician assessment and a personalised protocol.

Hair concerns

Hair loss and thinning are assessed in-clinic. Causes range from androgenetic alopecia to post-illness shedding; the treatment route depends on the diagnosis.

How we approach assessment

At MED YU MED every patient starts with a physician-led consultation. We review history, skin type, medication, lifestyle and prior treatments before recommending a protocol. There is no pressure to book a specific service at that appointment.

Some concerns overlap — acne scars and active acne, for example, need to be sequenced correctly, and pigmentation that looks similar on the surface may have different underlying causes that change the treatment plan.
