About the Morpheus Pro
The device at our clinic is labelled Morpheus Pro and runs InMode’s Morpheus8 applicators. InMode describes Morpheus8 as a minimally invasive epidermal resurfacing and Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device (SARD): it delivers fractional bipolar radiofrequency through a matrix of microneedles for subdermal adipose tissue remodelling, dermal remodelling and epidermal resurfacing.
Interchangeable tips set how many pins enter the skin and how deep the energy goes. At MED YU MED the device is used for contour tightening of the lower face and jawline, skin laxity on the face and neck, acne scars and pores, and body areas.

How Morpheus8 works
The pins enter the skin and release bipolar radiofrequency at depth. InMode states that Morpheus8 remodels subdermal and dermal tissue through bulk sub-necrotic heating and fractional coagulation of fat, and that it targets subdermal layers to remodel collagen. This deeper action is what separates it from microneedling with needles alone.
The tip decides the depth. In the 510(k) summary the 12-pin tip reaches up to 4.0 mm and the 24- and 40-pin tips up to 7.0 mm, while the T tip works at 0.5 mm. The clinician treats delicate zones shallower and lax or scarred areas deeper, and sets energy with skin type in mind.
RF microneedling carries heat into the dermis and below it. In October 2025 the US FDA warned that serious complications, including burns, scarring, fat loss, disfigurement and nerve damage, have been reported with certain uses of RF microneedling devices. InMode states that Morpheus8 is safe on skin types I to VI with little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The FDA labelling limits use above 62 mJ per pin to skin types I–IV, so the clinician sets the energy with your skin type in mind.
