ENDOLIFT

MED YU MED

Endolift works from inside the skin rather than across its surface. The Eufoton LASEmaR 1500 feeds a 1470 nm laser through optical microfibres, supplied in calibers from 200 to 600 microns. A doctor introduces a fibre through a micro entry point under local anaesthetic, then guides it through the deep dermis along the area being treated. The energy heats tissue from within, which reaches layers that surface lasers and topical creams do not.

Two effects follow the fibre. In published studies the heat reduces small fat pockets that blur a jawline or fill out the jowls, and it warms the fibrous septa, the connective strands that anchor skin to the tissue below. Over the following weeks that controlled heating stimulates neocollagenesis, so the skin typically tightens gradually rather than all at once. The lift comes from the body's own repair response, not from cutting or removing tissue. For a fuller explanation of the method, see Endolift in Dubai: how laser lifting works.

At MED YU MED the laser treats the full face, lower face, jowls, jawline, neck and decollete, and body zones including the abdomen, buttocks, knees, inner hips, hands and back. The fibre enters through micro points rather than surgical incisions, so there are no stitches and the entry points usually close without sutures. That places Endolift between surface energy devices and a surgical lift, which carries scars and a longer recovery.

Recovery is usually modest. Most patients leave the same day with mild swelling that settles within a few days, and the firming keeps developing for roughly two to three months as new collagen matures. Downtime depends on the area treated and the protocol the doctor chooses, so the exact picture is confirmed at consultation rather than promised in advance. Compared with a thread lift, the change comes from the body rebuilding its own collagen rather than from material placed under the skin.

Endolift is a medical procedure performed by a doctor, who reviews your skin, facial anatomy, medical history and goals before deciding whether the laser is appropriate. Results vary between individuals, and a single treatment is not a guarantee of a fixed outcome.

To book the procedure, see Endolift treatment and prices, which covers indications, suitability and pricing.

Expect swelling, tenderness and bruising around the entry points in the first days. Published case series also report burns, local infection, steatonecrosis, haematoma, hyperpigmentation and nerve injury, including the marginal mandibular branch, which affects movement rather than sensation. Serious complications are uncommon and depend on technique and patient selection, which is why the doctor reviews your anatomy and medical history before treating.

This page does not replace a medical consultation. Results are individual. A doctor confirms indications and contraindications at an in-person appointment.

How a Session Works

  1. ConsultationA doctor reviews facial anatomy, skin laxity, medical history and goals, then confirms whether Endolift is appropriate and which zones to treat.
  2. PreparationThe area is cleansed and marked, and local anaesthetic is applied around the planned entry points so the procedure stays comfortable.
  3. TreatmentOptical microfibres are introduced through micro entry points and guided through the deep dermis, delivering 1470 nm energy from the LASEmaR 1500 along each pass.
  4. AftercareMild swelling is expected and usually settles within a few days. Firming develops over two to three months as collagen rebuilds; aftercare follows the doctor's instructions.

FAQ

What is the Endolift device?
Endolift runs on the Eufoton LASEmaR 1500, a 1470 nm diode laser that delivers energy through optical microfibres placed in the deep dermis. At MED YU MED a doctor uses it for minimally invasive lifting of the lower face, jawline, neck and selected body zones.
Is Endolift surgery?
It is not a surgical lift, but it is an invasive medical procedure: a doctor places an optical microfibre under the skin under local anaesthetic. There are no surgical incisions and no stitches, and the entry points usually close without sutures. Written informed consent is signed before the procedure.
How long is the recovery after Endolift?
Most patients leave the same day with mild swelling that settles within a few days. Bruising and tenderness around the entry points are common early on. Downtime depends on the area and the protocol, and the firming continues to develop over two to three months.
Where on the body does Endolift work?
At MED YU MED it treats the lower face, jowls, jawline, neck and decollete, and body zones including the abdomen, buttocks, knees, inner hips, hands and back. The doctor confirms suitable areas at consultation.
When do Endolift results appear?
Some change can be noticed early, but the main result builds gradually as new collagen matures over roughly two to three months. Results vary between individuals.
Who should not have Endolift?
Endolift is not performed under the age of 18; during pregnancy or breastfeeding; over active infection, inflammation, open wounds or herpes in the treatment area; during acute viral or bacterial illness or exacerbation of a chronic disease; with active cancer or ongoing cancer treatment; with systemic connective tissue diseases; with uncontrolled chronic, endocrine or autoimmune conditions; with severe vascular disorders or thrombosis risk; with blood clotting disorders or prolonged anticoagulant use; with severe uncontrolled diabetes or impaired wound healing; with keloid tendency or abnormal scarring risk; over suspicious skin lesions that need a dermatologist assessment first; over metal implants or implanted electronic devices in the treatment area unless approved by the doctor; or where expectations are unrealistic or surgical lifting is the more suitable option. A doctor confirms the full list and your suitability at consultation.
