Lip fillers at MED YU MED Dubai

Lip augmentation at MED YU MED uses hyaluronic acid fillers to enhance lip volume, definition and symmetry. The treatment is performed by a physician; product selection, volume and technique are chosen based on your lip anatomy and the result you want.

We use reversible HA products only — no permanent fillers. Our default approach is natural enhancement: proportionate volume, improved symmetry and defined borders rather than maximum size.

Lip techniques at MED YU MED

• Classic lip augmentation — even volume distribution to both lips; suits patients wanting fuller, hydrated lips
• Russian lip technique — vertical injections for heart-shape definition and forward projection; creates a pillowy centre projection with less lateral overfill
• Lip border definition — targeting the vermillion border and Cupid’s bow for better shape without significant volume increase
• Lip flip — Botox (not filler) technique to gently evert the upper lip border; see Botox page

Products used

We use soft HA filler products specifically designed for the lips — lower viscosity to prevent stiffness and allow natural movement. Examples include Juvederm Ultra (Allergan), Restylane Kysse (Galderma) and equivalent products. All contain lidocaine.

What to expect

• Topical anaesthetic applied 20–30 min before
• Procedure: 20–30 minutes
• Immediate noticeable swelling for 24–72 hours — this is expected
• Bruising possible, especially with antiplatelet medication history
• Final result visible at 2 weeks when swelling resolves
• Avoid hot drinks, exercise and lip pressure for 24–48 hours
